From the Bay Area or Sacramento:
Take I-80 EAST towards Reno. Approximately 12 miles past Colfax, take the ALTA exit. Turn left under the freeway.Turn right on Alta Bonny Nook Rd. Follow the road over the R/R tracks and into town. On the left you will pass the Store and PG&E building. Immediately past the PG&E building, make a left on Alta Powerhouse Road. Follow the road to the end and you are here!
From Reno:
Take I-80 WEST towards Sacramento. Approximately 25 miles past Truckee, take the ALTA exit. Turn right at the stop sign and follow the directions above.
